Due to an administrative error by another group that serves at the hope community, we need to switch our monthly dinners back to our original schedule. Sorry for the confusion!

Shoebox of Love Wrap-Up
December 18, 2007 at 5:10 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentGreat going everyone!! All together we were able collect shoebox gifts for 27 women at the HOPE Community. It’s amazing to see what can be accomplished when community joins together. Be encouraged this holiday season by knowing that these 27 women now have something to open on Christmas.

Shoebox of Love
December 4, 2007 at 8:10 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentAfter asking the HOPE Community how we could be a blessing to them during the Christmas season, they said the biggest need is at the single women’s dorm. They have asked if we could help them, and we said YES!
They need perfume, socks, clocks, hygiene, gift cards so they can go buy clothes for job interviews, body lotion…feel-good girly stuff. Some of the women have just recently released from jail so don’t have anything. They estimating about 30 women, and we’d like to take care of as many as possible.
To add a personal touch, we’d like to create a shoebox for each woman, putting in personal items and encouraging notes.To provide Shoebox of Love, simply click here and leave a comment. We’ll contact you with all of the details.
November Dinner Wrap-Up

It’s always so much fun to go to the HOPE Community and serve. So many of the residents are so thankful we’re there, and I’m just thankful we’re allowed the opportunity to serve them. I’m really looking forward to the future of this partnership, and believe that God’s going to bring strategic alignment and strategy between our organizations.
